Foam Head
The Scope Foam Head is an innovative means of foaming a well to remove debris or stimulate a zone.

With a Scope Flush Joint in the well, the set up is an easy procedure. The Foam Head is installed with the use of a Flushby Unit; once the Foam Head is secured to the casing bowl, the entire assembly is pressure tested to ensure integrity.

When the pressure test is complete, the Scope representative will lift the tubing string and tubing hanger into the Foam Head, securing the lag nipple in the Foam Head.

The Lag Nipple is now secure and pressure tested to ensure that foam, sand, and debris safely return up the annulus and out of the foam spool to the return tank.

The Flush Joint is now functioned to lower the tubing below the perfs to begin the foam job. Once the well has been cleaned, the Flushby Unit is called back to reverse the process and put the well back into production.

The key Scope Foam Head features include:
  • Primary and secondary well head isolation achieved at all times
  • S.I.R. and E.U.B. approved
  • Utilized on straight or slant wells
  • No Service Rig required to install the Foam Head
  • Compatible with any well-head or tubing hanger design
  • Installed and removed with the use of a Flushby Unit
  • A Cost-effective means of foam stimulation and/or sand clean out
  • The Flushby Unit is released while foaming is being conducted on the well
  • The Flushby returns to run the well back on AFTER stimulation
  • Production can be back online within hours after clean out or stimulation
